LOL - Laughing Out Loud

After the 15-year-old Lola is dumped by her boyfriend, her tastes headed toward his best friend. Lola start to have problems with drugs, and starting to think more and more about sex.
During this time, the 40-year-old mother has been struggling with his divorce.

Lola (Miley Cyrus) leads an ordinary life, with her boyfriend Chad (George Finn), and best friends Emily (Ashley Hinshaw), Janice (Lina Esco) and Kyle (Douglas Booth). When they return to school, Lola discovers that Chad has cheated on her over the summer. Lola lies about meeting someone else and the two break up. When Lola and Kyle realize the feelings they have for each other they pursue a relationship, but this is complicated due to the fact that Chad and Kyle are friends, and Lola's "frienemy" Ashley (Ashley Greene) wants to be with Kyle. During the movie, Lola records all of these events in her diary. Kyle and his band want to compete in the battle of the bands, but Kyle's dad doesn't support Kyle's passion for music and feels that it is getting in the way of his schoolwork.
